Patricia Schuetz is an emerging artist who enjoys creating art that reflects the Spirituality in the environment and the natural world around us.  Her relationship to God is the true inspiration for her work.  She tries to always convey and share the peace she encounters while seeking Divine solitude in beautiful places.

A love of the beauty of nature and our amazing environment started early for her.  She started painting and drawing at a very young age and would later attend Ball State University where she studied Printmaking and Fine Art.

Some of her influences include Helen Frankenthaler, Judy Chicago, Ana Mendieta, Louise Elisabeth Vigee Le Brun, Georgia O'Keeffe, and many of the well known male artists.

Her works are influenced by the Old Masters of the Renaissance, Impressionism, Post-Impressionism, Fauvism, Japanese Woodcut Masters, Avant-Garde, just to name a few.  She also enjoys Ancient Art, Spiritual Art, and Multicultural Art.

She works in oils, using classical techniques like glazing and under-painting.  She enjoys the process of stretching her own canvas and uses museum quality materials.  Her prints are lino-cuts, mono-types, and woodcuts.  Each piece is made with the highest archival quality materials and is a solid investment.
